Beauty has been my passion for as long as I can remember.
As a child, I planned to marry rich and live in a big house. As an adult, I fell in love with small houses and married a good ol’ middle class American.
Because I learned along the way that you don’t have to have a huge house and a large income to live a beautiful life. It wasn’t about the money, it was about wanting to be surrounded by beauty. (Money is okay too! :))
This is my place to share my passion for interior design, fashion and food. Coming soon…inspiration, success and failures in my pursuit of living a beautiful minimalist life!
I’m a newlywed and my husband Nate is wonderfully patient as I take over his house and switch away from his rustic fishing and hunting décor! He definitely has an opinion, sometimes a preference, and I’m still working on his no pink rule! Together we’re redecorating our 60’s house and planning some remodels in the future. It’s a journey of blending our tastes, honoring the feel of the original architecture—and our budget.
The older I get the more I go towards minimalism because of the freedom it gives me. Freedom to pursue my dreams. I’m minimalist, not modern, so you’ll find a lot of the different things I love from industrial to fresh flowers and pearls…but all kept well, to a minimum!
Welcome to the journey!
