Beauty has been my passion for as long as I can remember.

As a child, I planTeamned to marry rich and live in a big house…..As an adult, I fell in love with the idea of tiny houses and married a good ol’ middle class American. You don’t have to have a huge house and a large income to live a beautiful life!

What does is minimalism mean for me? Working towards only having that which is useful, beautiful, and necessary.

Chocolate is all three of those, so we’re good there.

I’m saved by grace (a whole lotta it), married to Nate and mother to Little Man -our favorite, squishy thighed, wild haired bundle of joy! I’m thoroughly in love with both of them and can’t imagine life without my “boys”.

My passion is decorating, redecorating, and reredecorating every couple months. Or weeks. Or days. Basically whenever the mood strikes. Or when I clean. (I do clean more than every few months!)

I have a great weakness for tea. Black tea. It’s my constant battle to minimalize my consumption, but my success is nominal.

Peaceful living . Budget decorating. Decluttering. Healthy cooking. Style with a minimalist wardrobe. Random thoughts. Very long paragraphs and plenty of parentheses.

Hello? Anybody here? (I’m picturing an auditorium, with wooden floors, wood chairs, light filtering through large windows, with dust floating in the rays of sunshine, and a little girl standing at the front, behind a microphone, looking out over the emptiness, dreaming.)

I’m also a bit random. And I have an imagination.

I hope you find some inspiration around here to live your life clutter free, healthy and peaceful!

Minimalism to me is varied to suit different individuals, needs, and seasons of life. It’s freedom. For me minimalism doesn’t equal modern, so you’ll find a lot of the different things I love from industrial to fresh flowers and pearls…but all kept well, to a minimum!

Welcome to the journey!
